Country Estate Kennels

I have used country estate kennel to board my three dogs numerous times. Even though I moved out to central Jersey, we still make the trip to bring them here. The facility is clean and I always feel ok going away going on vacation without my furry friends as I know they will be safe and cared for here. They are always quick to call back if you need to leave a message on the machine and you can tell everyone that works here really cares about animals. Highly recommended!!!

Whoever picked up the phone today was highly disrespectful and should be FIRED from her job. My father passed away last week and I was trying to look for his cats medical history and to see if they possibly have a donated carrier so I can transport her to my home. She was incredibly RUDE, UNHELPFUL - I was getting fed up, and accidentally cursed
She said to me before hanging up - "Now you're going to curse at me? You can go f*** yourself."
This business will absolutely be reported for the disrespect. No condolences on my father passing. He took his cat there for many years. I also work in an animal hospital as a receptionist and dealt with a number of calls but her response, I'm APPALLED. Completely unprofessional. You will be reported.

"You can tell these girls are from Jersey, not SI. They're so nice." My wife brings up a good point. They seemed to know our cat and dog personally and were easy to talk to. Our dog smelled great her bath too.

Great and highly underrated place to board your dog when you go away.

I was recommended this place from my vet at forest animal hospital.

They are top notch and very thorough. They keep a medication administration sheet for the dogs like a nursing station at a top hospital.

The people there are all very dedicated to taking good care of the dogs. They ask and take notes regarding everything you want to mention to them related to caring for your dog. This includes medication administration and they even listened to me when I mentioned my dog needs a wipe after she poops so her butt doesn't get infected.

The facility is very clean and air conditioning was working well during the summer - very important for dog breeds that easily overheat like bulldogs. During the winter they are secure as well as many employees live within walking distance so the dogs are safe in the event of a blizzard.

Price is not bad either, the one catch being they charge by the day and not by the overnights so you end up paying one extra day - though it also means you can pick up later.

I will definitely board my dog here again if need be.

I used them several times with my German Shepard and he had a great time, he was well taken care of, the staff was amazing and upon pick up he was bathed. I would definitely use them again and highly recommended them.

Really disgusted and so sad for my puppy. I had a wedding last night and was in a bind with no one being able to watch my girl over night. Horrible experience. I called to check on her and they told me over the phone that she looked lonely which worried and upset me. I felt they could of left that out to give me some peace of mind. Then when I picked her up she was DISGUSTINGLY FILTHY. Smelled so bad like pee, covered in pee, poop and mud. Her paws were yellow!! We were told they walk the dogs, play with them and let them out and I'm left to think she was left in a cage all day and night laying and walking in her own pee. THE PICTURE OF HER PAW DOESNT EVEN DO IT JUSTICE. Lastly, they told me she ate all her food. i look in her bag and i see a lot of kibble loose in the bag which makes me think she did NOT eat her food and they just put it loose back in her overnight bag. Disgustinggggg. Never again. On top of the 70 dollars for ONE night i had to rush her to the groomers, another 50 dollars to give her a good bath and clean her paws and nails. Im

Dr. Jenkins is so kind and so loving with her four legged patients and their parents. We have been going there for years with our 3 dogs and 4 cats and cannot say one negative about them. Amanda and John are so good with the little ones. We are extremely happy with the care they receive.

Do Not go there!! If you use the kennel your dog will be stuck in a cage the entire time, they don't care if the poor animal doesn't eat. As for the Doctor my poor girl is dead because of them! They charged me for an exam, meanwhile the Dr never put a hand on my dog, they did surgery without doing the correct pretesting, as the owner you put your trust in these people. PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE.
